칼리드 탈이무르 아크람, 대한기자신문 아시아위원장
대한기자신문은 칼리드 탈이무르 아크람(Khalid Taimur Akram) 파키스탄 공유미래공동체연구센터(PRCCSF)전무이사를 대한기자신문 아시아위원장을 중국 상해 포트만 리츠칼튼 (Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai)호텔에서 지난 6일 위촉했다.
아크람 위원장은 이날 위촉식에서 “대한민국과 파키스탄을 비롯한 아시아지역을 미래를 짊어질 청년들에게 본보기가 되어 지역을 따지지 않고 정직하게 최선의 노력을 다하면 누구나 성공할 수 있다는 꿈과 희망을 심어 주고 싶다”라고 소감을 밝혔다.
이어 “저의 사명은 연구, 대화, 교류를 통해 다양한 국가와 문화권, 특히 유라시아 지역의 상호 이해, 신뢰, 협력을 증진하며 행복한 아시아 건설에 작은 밀알이 되고 싶다”라고 포부를 밝혔다.
아크람 위원장은 파키스탄 출신으로 보안, 인텔리전스, 정책 계획 분야에서 30년 이상의 경험을 쌓고, 중국통신대학교(CUC)가 베이징에 설립한 권위 있는 싱크탱크인 파키스탄 공유미래공동체연구센터(PRCCSF)에서 전무이사로 일하고 있다.
또한 2022년 우즈베키스탄 공화국 언론인 연합이 수여하는 '올탄 칼럼(OLTAN QALAM)'상을 수상했다. 그는 중국커뮤니케이션대학교에서 4년 연속(2021년부터 2024년까지) 최우수 연구자상을 수상했다. 2023년에는 아제르바이잔 정부 경제부로부터 최우수 작가상을 수상하기도 했다

The Korean Journalist Newspaper Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director of the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future(PRCCSF), was appointed as the Asia Committee Chairman of the Korean Journalist Newspaper the last 6 days during a ceremony held at the Portman Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Shanghai, China.
At the appointment ceremony, Chairman Akram stated, "I want to inspire young people in Korea, Pakistan, and other Asian regions with the hope and belief that anyone can succeed through honest, dedicated efforts, regardless of their background.“
He added, "My mission is to promote mutual understanding, trust, and cooperation among various countries and cultures, especially in Eurasia, through research, dialogue, and exchange. I aim to play a humble role in building a prosperous Asia.“
A native of Pakistan, Akram has over 30 years of experience in security, intelligence, and policy planning. He also serves as the Executive Director at the Pakistan Centre for Shared Future Community Research (PRCCSF), a respected think tank founded in Beijing with a collaboration of the Communication University of China (CUC).
Mr Akram is also the recipient of the 'OLTAN QALAM' award given by Union of Journalists of the Republic of Uzbekistan in year 2022. He has also given the best researcher award for four consecutive years ( from 2021 to 2024) by the Communication University of China. In addition , in year 2023 , he was also given best writer award by the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Government of Republic of Azerbaijan
